Our Burlington client is an award-winning accounting firm and they are actively seeking a new Accounting Specialist to join their team! On-going training and workshops ~ Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm Maintaining books of accounts, journal entries, and reconciliations; Supporting clients with bookkeeping assistance; Providing assistance and troubleshooting through accounting software issues; Calculating and preparing GST/HST, payroll, and other government remittances; Recording investments either using Excel or a specific software program; Preparing personal income tax returns. Post-secondary education in accounting Minimum of five (5) years' experience in a public accounting firm Bookkeeping experience Knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Desktop Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Experience doing accounting for multiple clients #
