The Integrated Operations Center (IOC) serves as the front-line of remote operations. Utilizing surveillance programs, SCADA systems, and customized workflows, IOC staff can visualize problems from a unique perspective and quickly drive solutions. This position will remotely perform system wide (from well to plant) surveillance, diagnostics & optimization in collaboration with field operations, plant control room, and Calgary-based production and facility engineers. This is a 14/14 rotational role based at our Montney asset in Fort St. John with travel and camp accommodation provided. Initially, working hours will be day shift only, and will eventually include night shift. Act as the single point of contact for Calgary Production Delivery Engineers Act as a liaison between plant control room and field operators. Rationalize and manage alarms and callouts for wells. Adjust setpoints to optimize production in alignment with standard operating conditions. Collaborate with PE/Field to coordinate AL initiation. Collaborate with PE/Field on troubleshooting/diagnostic work. Identify metering issues (gas/oil/water) and coordinate resolution. Identify surface issues and communicate to operations, paraffin in FL, carryover to plant, dump issues. Production Validation and Loss Coding; adjust volumes to accurately reflect production and categorize production variances relative to targets. Document field changes in selected application. Support onsite field work; assist Field Operations and Engineering surrounding production optimization, troubleshooting and downhole diagnostics. Provide coverage to field operations as needed. 10+ years of experience in oil and gas operations ~5+ years of operating experience with an understanding of production, facilities, processes, surveillance ~ Advanced proficiency in troubleshooting oil and gas well behavior ~ Ability to work 14/14 rotations on 12-hours shifts with adaptability of changing work conditions and schedules. ~ Proficient in business applications software, including Office 365 ~ Willing to work in a Control Room environment. ~ Legally authorized to work in Canada on a full-time basis without restrictions. In depth knowledge of various oil and gas production/lifting methods and well control: sand production, free flow mechanism, gas-lift, plunger-lift, chemical treatment. Prior experience in remote well operation and monitoring Prior experience with data analysis and visualization tools Proficient in SCADA system configuration, capabilities, and input requirements Familiar with drilling and completion operations This role will be compensated hourly within a base pay range of $46.The successful candidate will be required to provide proof of a valid driver's license and a copy of a current drivers abstract.
