How you'll Make An Impact: (If this looks enticing, click "Apply"!)

• Develop a strong pipeline of innovation that drives incremental, profitable and sustained growth
• Lead with a blend of disciplined management practices with entrepreneurial behavior, skills, and mindset to make intuitive strategic decisions while appropriately managing uncertainty and risk
• Work directly with co-pack community, have ability to inspire, motivate, and promote ideas and ensure developing partnerships to deliver optimal and timely innovation results, ensure we are a priority.
• Lead a diverse, cross-functional team that will be responsible for stage-gate process of moving from concept through the innovation process, considering strategic, consumer, technical, and business viability
• Lead design team to ensure delivering break-thru packaging that delivers each proposition uniquely and powerfully, but always staying true to brand standards.
• Develop strong business cases, identifying volumes, pricing, product costs, and trade/consumer support scenarios, to ensure opportunity meets financial objectives and hurdles
• Truly understand the Open Farm promise and work with cross-functional team internally and externally to ensure all innovation, all components of launch fully 100% deliver on our promise, we are obsessed!
• Form trusted partnerships with our R&D, Supply Chain, Marketing and Sales teams so you can be an effective new product representative cross-functional
• Lead training of our internal teams, sales and customer service, to ensure successful product launch and understanding in market.

We're Excited About You Because:

• You have 5-7+ years in the consumer-packaged goods industry, preferably in the pet categorywith a proven record of launching meaningful and disruptful innovation
• Proven innovation success; either new product development, creation of new business models, start-up experience, or other entrepreneurial ventures (food or pet industry experience preferred)
• Experience being a leader of innovation strategy, idea development, and business commercialization. In this role, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to deliver product ideas through the innovation process from ideation to launch.
• Experience managing team , good at providing clear direction, clear vision and motivating others, proven record of leading cross-functional teams to deliver break-thru products through innovation process from ideation to launch.
• Desire to make an impact and "get your hands dirty" in a fast-paced environment, be comfortable moving quickly, making decisions without heavy market research.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
