We have a new position available at our Edmonton Inland facility as follows:

Position: Full Time Maintenance Personnel

Start Date : Immediate

Salary: Dependent on experience and qualifications; plus, benefits


Reports to: Operations Manager Edmonton or, in his absence National Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities - Maintenance:

  • Responsible for all scheduling of preventative maintenance
  • Coordination with outside trades and contractors
  • Coordinate routine maintenance required and assist where needed with direction from Operations Manager
  • Responsible for installation of new processes under direction of Operation Manager
  • Operate within standard operating procedures and requirements of ISO and RD systems.
  • Complete documentation and paperwork as requested by manager
  • Maintain a clean and safe plant
  • Spare parts ordering and inventory input of same
  • Tote testing, for certification as relief person as required
  • Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager on day to day basis
  • Participate in capital projects as directed

Requirements, Skills & Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Experience in packaging and/or a manufacturing environment is an asset
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a dedication to quality and safety
  • Following direction while working with a team and maintaining a positive and respectful workplace
  • Experience in PVC piping repair/installation
  • Basic electrical knowledge
  • Previous Pipefitting and millwright experience would be an asset
  • Abiding by Company policies and procedures
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to use critical thinking and problem solving
  • Experience in a chemical Process environment
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Scissor and articulating lift experience
  • Own reliable form of transportation

Working Conditions:

  • Hearing protection and steel toe shoes required
  • Frequently standing, walking, bending, stooping, crouching, and twisting while transferring product
  • Operating mobile equipment
  • Overtime / weekend work as needed based on maintenance schedule and or emergencies
  • Hours of operation 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.
