You'll ensure affordable capital is available and that targeted investments are made by FCC and its partners in support of Indigenous agriculture and food. First Nations, Métis and Inuit have always been involved in agriculture and food and are uniquely positioned to reclaim their food sovereignty and grow successful businesses. FCC has lending, products and services to help Indigenous entrepreneurs, economic development corporations and government entities fully realize their goals. As Senior Indigenous Relations Business Partner, you'll work with internal leaders, teams and stakeholders to create access to capital for Indigenous and under-represented groups. With your strong collaboration skills, you'll work closely with lending teams to establish and execute business plans to achieve lending targets and align lending with FCC's Indigenous Relations strategy and Indigenous Reconciliation Action Plan. What you'll do: Work with operations, head office staff and external stakeholders to build Indigenous financing, increasing access to capital for Indigenous and under-represented groups Build consistent approaches, policies, processes and practices for Indigenous financing and access to capital Participate in all access-to-capital undertakings for Indigenous and under-represented groups Recommend and develop incentives and programs that will drive the Indigenous Relations strategy forward What we're looking for: Confident communicator with strong analytical skills who can foster and engage in change across teams Ability to connect and build high-level business partnerships A drive to help others achieve their goals What you'll need: A bachelor's degree in agriculture, business or commerce and at least six years of related ag finance or sales experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience) In-depth knowledge of the agriculture, agribusiness and food industry Thorough understanding and experience in credit and risk analysis, commercial/corporate loan portfolio management practices and appraisals Extensive experience working with credit, risk, policy and special credit Extensive experience working with financial institutions, credit unions and Indigenous financial institutions A love for agriculture #J-18808-Ljbffr
