Your Role: Senior Quality Control Technician

The Senior Technician, Quality Control is responsible for performing Work in Process (WIP) testing of all antigens, and batch release testing in accordance with approved Outlines of Production and GMP. In addition, the QC Technician is responsible for stability testing, environmental and utility testing, investigational testing, and qualification / validation activities as required.

Your Responsibilities:

• Performing WIP and Final Product batch release tests within the scope of the Outlines of Production in accordance with GMP guidelines. Methods include, but are not limited to, microbiology, cell culture, and molecular biology techniques.
• Serving as a subject matter expert in at least one of the following areas:
  • Microbiology – including experience with bacteriological and cell culture techniques.
  • Molecular Biology – including experience with qPCR, HPLC, RT-PCR/Gel electrophoresis techniques.
• Assisting in equipment and method validation and verification work as required
• Updating, maintaining, and creating relevant SOPs, SOs, MDFs and forms
• Initiating and supporting investigations where applicable

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):

• Education : BS in biological sciences
• Required Experience : 3 years industrial lab experience.
• Experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.

• Excellent problem solving skills
• Communication and decision-making skills
• Experience with Microsoft 365 programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
• Experience with data analysis software (e.g. JMP)

• Ability to work after normal business hours and on-call rotations as required
