DIRECTOR OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES Job Description Posted Friday, March 22, 2024 at 4:00 AM As the Director of Information and Communication Technology, the primary role is to lead and oversee initiatives related to IT and communications infrastructure within the organization. This includes managing technical teams, developing IT strategies, and implementing technology solutions to support business goals. In addition, the Director is responsible for ensuring the security and compliance of IT systems while fostering innovation and operational efficiency. RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement IT policies and procedures; Oversee all aspects of our technology infrastructure; Manage the purchase of hardware and software; Analyze the technology needs of all departments to determine their needs; Purchase efficient and cost-effective technology equipment and software; Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure their functionality and effectiveness; Identify the need for upgrades, configurations, or new systems and inform management; Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for effective implementation of new systems or upgrades. REQUIREMENTS Undergraduate degree in computer science or equivalent experience; ITIL certification or equivalent is an asset; Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT management, preferably as a DevOps or SiteOps manager; Demonstrated ability to lead DevOps and SiteOps teams; In-depth knowledge of network technologies and security solutions; Excellent communication, leadership and priority management skills; This role involves interaction with internal and external clients and partners on a national and global scale. Professional proficiency in English is therefore a requirement for this role.
