About The Position

We seek a bilingual (French/English), motivated and dynamic Business Development Representative to join our dedicated team. This role is pivotal in our growth strategy as it involves identifying and nurturing potential clients into valuable sales opportunities. Responsibilities

  • Initiate contact with potential clients through effective cold calls and personalized emails, presenting our company's value proposition and engaging in meaningful conversations. We expect a minimum of 350 touchpoints a week.
  • Qualify leads generated from marketing campaigns, website inquiries, and other sources to determine their potential as sales opportunities.
  • Showcase our comprehensive range of energy-saving solutions and services to potential clients, highlighting the unique benefits that align with their needs.
  • Actively listen to potential clients to understand their pain points, challenges, and goals and translate these insights into tailored solutions that effectively address their requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure a seamless transition of qualified leads and provide valuable insights for refining lead generation strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions and leads in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and refine sales scripts, email templates, and outreach strategies to continuously improve the effectiveness of the business development process.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, market developments, and competitors' offerings to effectively position EnerSavings Inc. as a leader in sustainable energy solutions.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of sales presentations, proposals, and materials as needed to support the sales process.
  • Strive to meet and exceed individual and team targets for lead qualification and conversion.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the company's corporate social responsibility initiatives and effectively communicate these values to potential clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Bilingual (French/English)
  • Strong analytical skills to understand data and make decisions accordingly.
  • Proven experience (2-4 years) in business development, lead qualification, or sales support, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Familiarity with tools like AI, GPT, and Microsoft Suite is required.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with potential clients through phone calls, emails, and virtual meetings.
  • A strong understanding of energy-saving solutions, sustainability, and corporate social responsibility is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Microsoft Dynamics 365 etc.) and other sales enablement tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, etc.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Passion for learning and staying informed about industry trends and advancements.
