Triton) is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic individual to join a well-established team of environmental professionals to fill the position of Aquatics Field Biologist .The successful candidate will be responsible for leading field programs and providing technical support to project managers. Provide technical leadership on the aquatic biology components of our projects within a team environment. Manage tasks and projects according to approved scopes of works and deliver quality reports on schedule. Liaise with on-site client representatives and contractors. Provide quality and independent reviews for projects. Work collaboratively within the Triton corporate culture. in biology or related field ~ Technical knowledge in fish biology and identification, as well as fish sampling and salvage techniques Experience designing, installing, and maintaining instream isolations Multi-jurisdictional knowledge of environmental regulations, policies, and permit application processes Adept in the operation and maintenance of required field equipment Proficient in the operation of off-highway vehicles Experience operating boats, including jet-drive, considered an asset. The compensation range for this position is $33 to $43 per hour, dependent on qualifications and experience.
