We are an Axe throwing club, looking for a candidate to take the role of Operations Manager. We are open to the general public all year, & we also host regional leagues in affiliation with WATL (world axe throwing league).
Job Duties:
- Organise & run the managerial operations at the primary location
- Hire, train & supervise new employees
- Create, modify, & reaffirm policies & procedures
- Resolve complaints within the staff team and from customers
- Maintain inventory and be in charge of spending
- Supervise activities & events provided at the location
- Manage, supervise & maintain a clean, safe, and friendly environment for all staff, guests & customers
COVID-19 considerations:
- Disinfectant spray, hand sanitizer and physical distancing protocols will be in place at all times at the club
Details
- Permanent position 30-35 hours a week
- 1 vacancy

- $30 an hour
Primary Location is in Downtown Victoria BC, mobile unit location will vary,
Minimum Skill, experience & certification required:
- 2 years experience of operations in an axe throwing club
- Competent communication in english, written & verbal
- IT skills using excel, word, reservation software
- Confident in instructing, managing & supervising employees
Preferred skill, experience & certification:
- High school graduation
- Previous experience:
- Of operations within an axe throwing club
- In training & supervising employees
- With using power tools e.g. circular wood saw, bench grinder
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $30.00 per hour
