Key Responsibilities Include:

Forest Op Monitoring Specialist offers a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on the sustainability of forest resources in the Peace River Forest Area. You will be working at the operational level with industry forestry practitioners in the implementation of Annual Harvesting and Silviculture Plans and will strive to ensure compliance with legislation, policy, directives, approval conditions and approved plans. • A two-year diploma in Forestry or a related Natural Resources Management field plus four years of related and current experience is required.
• Equivalencies such as a degree in Forestry or a related Natural Resource Management field plus a minimum of four years of related and current experience will be considered.
• Directly related experience or education considered on the basis of: one year of experience for one year of education or one year of education for one year of experience.
