Position Summary

Reporting to the Information Security Manager, the IAM Engineer is responsible for leading, implementing, and supporting Identity and Privileged Access Management (IAM-PAM) Services within HTB as part of the cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate is passionate about authentication, security, and has direct experience in authentication, identity, pam, security, and in building complex rule-based systems for authorization.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure successful executing of IAM projects and solutions in collaboration with IT operations, integrations, DevOps, and project managers
• Work with IAM vendors to resolve application, software, and hardware issues in a timely manner
• Create and maintain system documentation for IAM Services and affiliated technologies, including installation, configuration, and appropriate troubleshooting steps.
• Provide technical consultation and assist the application teams in the use of IAM services
• Implement, maintain, and enhance security measures and controls
• Implement security policies and standards using Cybersecurity frameworks
• Develop and configure Privileged Account life cycle use cases
• Conduct Information Security assessments on new and existing projects
• Collaborate with internal teams to align security measures with business initiatives
• Stay up-to-day on information security standards, vulnerability published and remediation approach

Qualifications & Experience:

Degrees, Diplomas & Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or relevant experience relating to the IT industry is required.
• Desirable certifications: Security +, CEH, CySA+, GCIH Azure/M365 Security Engineer
• CCSP would be considered an asset

Years and Range of Experience Required to Perform the Job:

• 3-5 years experience with extensive hands-on knowledge of identity and access management best practices, procedures, and software solutions such as CyberArk, SailPoint, Okta, Ping Identity, etc.
• Extensive hands-on knowledge and experience with IAM related technologies (M365, MFA, PAM, SSO, SAML, Kerberos, Oauth, PKI)
• Working knowledge of industry standards & protocols including SAML, OpenID Connect, Oauth, LDAP, Kerberos, WSFed, etc.
• Have a good understanding of current regulatory environment and related implications to identity management, security, and audit compliance
• Previous Cloud (AWS & Azure) experience is desired
• Application security experience is an asset
• CCSP would be considered an asset
