The University of Lethbridge is actively seeking a dynamic and seasoned professional to take on the role of Manager, Scholarships and Student Finance, starting on May 20, 2024. As a full-time, continuing position, this role offers a chance to significantly influence students' educational journeys by assisting them in navigating the intricacies of financing their studies. Joining a passionate team of Student Affairs experts, you'll play a pivotal role in empowering students to pursue their academic ambitions with confidence. Bring your attention to detail to the forefront as you implement policies and procedures with fairness and equity. Prior experience in post-secondary student finance or awards environments is preferred. Your proficiency in time, project, and talent management will be pivotal to your success. In this role, you'll report to the Assistant Registrar (Enrolment) and spearhead the Scholarships and Student Finance department within Student Enrolment and Registrar Services ( SEARS ). Working closely with University Advancement, Financial Services, and other stakeholders, you'll drive sustainable and impactful awards programming. Given the University of Lethbridge's status as a destination institution, familiarity with student aid programs from various jurisdictions, both within Canada and beyond, is necessary for success in this role. The University of Lethbridge is undertaking a job classification and compensation review for Administrative Professional Officer ( APO ) positions. As such, the salary range currently assigned for this position may be adjusted as a result of this project. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree, as well as 3 or more years of progressive experience in a post-secondary environment with budgetary and decision-making responsibilities. Previous experience related to student financial assistance and team/project management is considered an asset.
