As Human Resources Coordinator you would be involved in all aspects of Human Resources functions within our dynamic and growing manufacturing company. Reporting to the Vice President in collaboration with the Director of Finance, this role requires a high degree of accuracy for administrative data management as well as a strong ability to connect with people at all levels within the organization.

Among your varied responsibilities would be to plan, implement and evaluate human resources strategies. Specifically, this will require recruitment, candidate screening, interviewing and reference verification, onboarding, retention, and administration of the employee group benefit plan. You will also be involved with performance management in collaboration with other key personnel. This is a dual role, combining confidential administrative functions with the strategic thinking capabilities to navigate through challenging interpersonal relationships.

Role / Responsibilities:

  • Performance review administration
  • Discipline and dispute resolution
  • Employee retention, engagement, and staff surveys
  • Regulatory compliance
  • Develop policies, programs, and procedures

Requirements:

  • University degree or college level diploma in Human Resources Management
  • CHRP or working towards designation
  • 3 – 5 years in human resources supporting employee life cycle operations
  • Strong presentation, written and verbal skills (English)
  • Demonstrated adherence to company and staff privacy
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Attention to detail in all areas of document management and work
