Webuild ( ) is seeking a Architect / Structural Engineer to provide Architectural claims and litigation support for large development projects throughout the western United States.

The ideal individual would have 10+ years of experience focused on the assessment of architectural design; conducting field investigations, evaluating design defects, product deficiencies and preparing reports for residential, commercial and/or industrial projects that have been impacted by natural disasters, significant water/fire damage and/or product design / construction defect events. Candidates must have previous successful experience providing litigation support (expert witness, trial consulting) for defense/ plaintiff clientele as needed.

The Architect / Structural Engineer will be tasked with leading a multiple project portfolio requiring extensive field investigations, evaluations, design / product defect reviews related to commercial, industrial and residential projects. Individual selected with be the main point of conduct for all project communications, scheduling, technical leadership, reporting (causes of failure, extent of loss) and legal support. Position will require extensive deposition and trial representation.

Requires a Bachelor degree in Architecture, Structural Engineering or related discipline. Registration as a California Architect or Professional Structural Engineer (PE) preferred. Must have excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
