Our team has an im medi ate 12-month contract opening for a Cooperation Associate.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in academic and entrepreneurial sectors, including university faculty and startup founders.
- Establish and nurture partnerships with key stakeholders in the academic and startup
ecosystems across North America. - Design, organize and execute joint initiatives, workshops, seminars, and other collaborative
events. - Identify and conduct comprehensive research on emerging technologies within the consumer
electronics space, including but not limited to foldable phones, mixed reality, smart TVs, and
more. - Evaluate the potential product and business opportunities, enabling Huawei to offer innovative
and value-driven solutions to consumers. - Lead the technology planning process by developing new technology concepts, forecasting
market trends and providing strategic advice to executive leadership. - Actively participate in research and engineering projects that span multiple disciplines.
Collaborate with research scientists, software developers, system architects, and UX designers to
drive the development of groundbreaking technologies and products.
What you'll bring to the team:
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science and engineering programs.
- A strong passion for AI and consumer-oriented new technologies.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, capable of establishing rapport and
influencing key stakeholders. - Demonstrated leadership skills, with a proven track record of leading multidisciplinary projects and teams.
- Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, navigate complex situations and excel in fast-paced and dynamic environments.
- Preference for candidates with experience in project management and/or venture capitals within
the emerging technology sector. - Preference for candidates with comprehensive understanding of the technology foundations of
consumer electronics, encompassing human-computer interaction, application development,
framework engineering, mobile operating systems, and hardware.
