Here's what you'll be doing:

• Establish excellent business and social relationships within the industry and participate in activities related to public relations to further increase sales leads for department and hotel.
• Handle external and internal inquires for meetings and catering functions.
• Processing all the information pertaining to the booking and disseminating this information as well as prepare all contracts that go directly to clients for signature.
• Work closely with food and beverage, housekeeping and front desk for successful execution of events.
• Build strong client relations by ensuring all details of the meeting/function are being looked after. Follow up with the client to ensure that all guarantees and expectations were exceeded/delivered and to determine any potential for future business for the Delta Saint John.
• A focus on wedding and other social events.

Does this sound like you?

• Experience in hospitality catering/sales, additional experience in the hospitality industry an asset
• Excellent sales skills with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of current hospitality industry trends and local market a definite asset.
