The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be engaged in strategic candidate sourcing and selection initiatives to attract talent necessary to achieve company goals.
Job Responsibilities:- Researching, identifying and managing a variety of proactive and passive recruiting resources including Internet, campus placement offices, printed advertising, trade associations, search firms and advertising initiatives for both exempt openings.
- Screen and administer selection assessments to candidates to identify potential for success in opportunities.
- Provides timely reporting to leadership on progress of staffing activities.
- Ensuring compliance with documentation of the staffing and selection process.
- Assisting the Senior Manager, Talent Management in special projects, start-ups, surveys, and site visits.
- Representing the organization to candidates at recruiting events, via social media and in discussions with applicants throughout the selection process.
- Planning and executing recruitment strategies to insure a continuing supply of qualified professional, technical and management applicants.
- Maintains positive relationships with hiring managers by assessing staffing request needs, providing timely feedback, and educating them in the proper process, tools and techniques needed to hire qualified candidates.
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
- Computer literate, strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to follow policies and procedures.
- Strong team player.
- Ability to sit/walk/stand for up to 8 hours per day.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing demands.
- Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to develop relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
- Ability to read, write and interpret information.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
- Must be bilingual French/English required
- Familiarity with Web-based applicant tracking systems; Taleo experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- In lieu of degree, high school diploma or GED and 6 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred and 4 years of relevant experience.
