2 positions available The Business Development Associate position for United States Liability Insurance Company is a permanent outside insurance sales role. Main responsibilities will include driving new business activity from assigned customers and prospecting for new customers. To successfully accomplish these goals, the selected candidate must have the following skills and attributes: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada for USLI Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in the insurance industry or business equivalent experience Secondary School Completed at a minimum Driver's License Speak Fluent English Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory based out of Toronto, covering Ontario, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Atlantic Canada Ability to demonstrate skills in: Managing both external relationships with customers as well as internal relationships with underwriters Time management and balancing multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced environment including customer meetings, internal meetings, phone calls, managing our prospect database, and weekly reporting of sales activity Self-starter with strong dependability/self-structure as this is a remote position Commitment to work toward completion of General Insurance Essentials Designation (GIE), RPLU, CIP Designations Position responsibilities will include: Cold calling prospective customers Travel including in-person customer meetings Virtual customer meetings Consistent communication with customers on goals and results Compensation : Base Salary Range - $70,000 -90,000 CAD Quarterly Bonus based on territory performance.
