Electrician

We are Currently looking for Electricians to join our client's team in Amherst, NS! You will be working with one of the largest end-to-end baking facilities in North America.
Available Shifts: Monday to Friday, may include weekends
Rate of Pay: $32.91 per hour
Responsibilities:
• Repair, troubleshoot and install machinery including electrical and electronic equipment, control systems and automation
• Wire electrical systems and test automated systems
• Optimize equipment safety, efficiency and reliability, participating in continuous improvement projects and completing work orders according to PM schedules
• Comply with all applicable legislative and food safety, health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
• Service, clean and perform preventative maintenance and overhaul on all production equipment
• Continually improve equipment function
• Ensure that work area is clean of debris and hazards at all times and check work area for such hazards upon arrival and departing each work area
• Perform other related duties as assigned or required
Candidate Qualifications:
• This role requires an Industrial Electrician License (442A) or Construction and Maintenance 309A
• Exceptional communication and problem solving skills
• Lifting up to 50lbs
• Instrumentation experience considered an asset
• Two years of industrial, electrical, and mechanical experience
• Completion of Electrician Program
