We are seeking a Senior/Principal Resource Geologist. Our geology group in Vancouver is one of the largest in SRK North America, with a diverse cross-section of structural geologists, resource geologists, geostatisticians and mining engineers. As a senior to principal level consultant, your general responsibilities will include mineral resource estimation, technical reporting, and due diligence project reviews. A degree in geology or engineering ~Sound geological understanding of mineralized deposits with 3D geological modeling skills. ~ Ability to work independently as well as in multi-disciplinary project teams. ~ Knowledge and experience of conditional simulation techniques will be an asset. ~ Established network within mining industry. ~ Dynamic and energetic, capacity to mentor junior consultants. ~ This position involves working in multi-disciplinary teams on a range of projects both nationally and overseas; international travel may form a significant part of the role.
