Our client, in the Richmond B.C. area is seeking a Shunt Driver to join their team within the logistics industry. The ideal candidate will have a the ability to maintain an organized yard and communicate well within a team environment.

Job Title: Part Time Shunt Driver

Location: Richmond B.C.

Pay Range: 30.00 Per hour to start

Please note -To qualify for this role you will need a class 1 licence

What is in it for you?

• $30.00 per hour plus optional overtime.
• Monday to Friday.
• Part Time Shift - 20 hours per week.

What is the Job?

• Shunting the trailers by hooking up to trailers; shunting the trailers in the yard, yard to yard.
• Ensuring vehicle maintenance by performing preventative and light maintenance on shunt trucks.
• Inspecting and completing general housekeeping of the shunt truck, and fueling the shunt trucks.
• Pickup and delivery of freight, spotting trailers.

What you bring to the job?

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Class 1 licence and clear criminal background check.
• Must possess good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Able to perform repetitive motions while lifting objects from ground level or above.
