Business Address: Unit 107, 32660 George Ferguson Way Abbotsford, BC V2T 4V6 Title of position: Administrative Assistant No. of positions: 1 Wages: $28.85/hr for 40 hours per week Job Type: Full-Time, year-round work Work Location: Abbotsford, BC Start Date of Employment: As soon as possible Job Description for the position of Administrative Assistant at Abby Labour Contractor Ltd. is as: Open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material and coordinate the flow of information. To organize and proofread correspondences, reports, official memos, contracts and marketing material; and to produce them using computer word processing, spreadsheet, and database software. Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings. Organize order files (hardcopy and electronic) to keep track of the status and have the records ready whenever needed. Maintain and update contact databases pertaining to clients and contractors/sub-contractors. Follow up with clients to provide/get the status of orders/projects and disbursement of invoices. Keep a record of company employees hours of work, and submit a report to management for payroll. General clerical duties: filing, faxing, answering phone calls and taking messages. Order and keep stock of office supplies and materials, arrange deliveries and make payments. Greet visitors, ascertain nature of the business and direct them to contacts or service areas. Perform other related duties as required. Skills and Experience requirement: Completion of Secondary Education is required. Minimum 1 year of relevant experience is required. Excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Office. Good command of the English language; both oral and written.
