Integrity Home Health Services (IHHS) is seeking a capable and dynamic individual for the position of Personal Care Aide/Personal Support Worker (PCA/PSW) Course Instructor, in Saint John NB. Joining our team will allow you to develop and support your local community. Through the education and training of our front-line staff, you will be assisting in keeping members of your community healthy and in their own homes for as long as they desire.

This position requires: preparation of educational material and resources, following our provincially approved curriculum, establishing and managing a positive learning environment, and instructing and evaluating students.

Successful candidates must demonstrate knowledge of subjects such as: human growth and development, basic human health assessment, disease trajectory, personal care, work safe, body mechanics, and ethical and legal framework in a healthcare setting. Must also be comfortable with teaching in a group setting and evaluating students in verbal assessments.

Applicants must hold an RN certificate with a minimum of 2 years' experience or an LPN certificate with 4 years' experience. Applicants must be able to work autonomously and have knowledge of computer programs such as Power Point and Word. Must be comfortable with online teaching/zoom application.

Hospital experience, bilingualism, and previous teaching experience are all considered assets.
