Neighbourly Pharmacy is looking for a full-time Registered Pharmacy Technician - Central Fill Production and Verification to join our established team at Neighbourly BC Central Solutions, Burnaby, BC.

Job Description:

The Pharmacy Technician will play a pivotal role in Central Fill Production & Verification . In this capacity, they will oversee and manage all aspects of central fill blister pack order entry, production, and technical prescription verification. Collaboration with the central fill pharmacy team is essential.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Synmed Automation System Operation:
Operate the Synmed automation system, including basic troubleshooting.
Provide training and supervision to other staff members operating the Synmed system.

Physical Verification of Blister Packs:
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of blister packs.
Perform visual inspections to maintain quality standards.

Quality Control for Packaging and Shipment:
Verify that blister packs are correctly labeled and packaged.
Monitor adherence to quality guidelines during the production process.

Data Entry and Basic Invoicing:
Utilize Excel and POS systems for data entry related to invoicing.
Maintain accurate records of transactions.

Inventory Management:
Analyze incoming orders and assess inventory needs.
Place orders based on the company's formulary requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:
Licensing: Licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia .
Automation Experience: Previous familiarity with the Synmed automation system or equivalent experience with other automation systems is advantageous.
Central Fill Background: Prior work experience in a central fill setting or long-term care pharmacy.
Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
Leadership and Organization: Strong leadership skills and attention to detail.
Collaboration: Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
