In this dynamic new role, the Director of Medical Administration will embody strategic thinking, backed by a track record of innovation and accomplishments. With a talent for engaging stakeholders in decision-making processes, the Director will adeptly navigate periods of rapid change. Reporting directly to the Chief of Staff and Vice President of Medical Affairs, this role will serve as an Advisor for Medical/Professional Staff strategic planning, relationship management, and governance.

As a central liaison, the Director will collaborate closely with the Chief of Staff, Vice President of Medical Affairs, President and CEO, Program Chiefs, and Medical Directors on all matters concerning the professional staff. Responsibilities will encompass a wide array of tasks, including monitoring legislative mandates and directives from the Ministry of Health and Long-term Care, devising action plans, providing strategic guidance, overseeing budgets and physician contractual agreements, resolving patient concerns, meeting reporting requirements, and supporting physicians and physician leaders.

This position will play a pivotal role in advocating for physicians in corporate endeavors, communications, and legislative compliance, while also prioritizing patient and family engagement in alignment with regulatory standards.
