We manufacture and sell aluminum trim systems for lap siding, fiber cement panel and aluminum composite materials (ACM), primarily in the United States and Canada. Our products are cutting-edge technology and highly innovative. With many patents in place or pending, our Company has laid the path for our bright future. To support our fast growth, we are looking for highly energetic, reliable, and process driven individuals to join our team in the Samples Department.
You will work from our head office and warehouse in Calgary SE, you will be a member of our LEAN Operations Team. You will be providing general labour duties to help our business grow and gain valuable experience in a thriving innovative business. Our team is focused on the continuous growth of our employees and we are considered a leader in our industry for growth each year.
Responsibilities
• Ensure safe working environment 100% of the time
• Ensure requirements are met, including timelines, inventory levels, processing orders and communicating with all parties involved
• Organize appropriate paperwork and electronic files
• Teamwork. That means leading and collaborating with Warehouse Associates and working harmoniously with other business units including sales teams, Logistics Managers, Operations Managers, etc.
• Preparing display boards with material pieces, pictures and labels
• General clean-up/organization of workspace
• Attention to detail is important and working with low supervision.
Qualifications & Experience
• An understanding that the client is central to everything we do
• No experience necessary, but experience with tools an asset
• Ability to communicate in English effectively both written and verbally
• Ability to multi task effectively, take direction
• A positive, friendly, courteous attitude
• Highly detailed and precision oriented. Accuracy in this position is a must
• Proactively identify potential problems and taking care of them before they might escalate
• Able to use technology
• Should be able to lift up to 20 lbs without assistance and work in a workshop setting
• Dependable transportation is required
• Ability to work Monday to Friday (daytime hours), with some overtime based on business requirements
Compensation
_Starting hourly wage is $19/hr depending on experience, with a flexible benefit program starting after 3 months._
