The National Communications Coordinator plays a pivotal role in developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies to promote EHN Canadas mission, enhance its public image, and engage stakeholders at the national level. This position requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of media relations, and the ability to collaborate across departments Nationally.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the communications efforts to deliver the internal communications program, ensuring the company's internal voice is consistent and present throughout all communication materials and initiatives
  • Create, with direction, compelling internal communications materials for multiple audiences including written, graphic, and video content
  • Create, with direction, an internal monthly newsletter to ensure all employees across the network are up-to-date with all ongoing efforts
  • Create and with direction, an internal bi-weekly update to leaders - Leadership Loop
  • Support communications for key, internal departments, and executives, including English and French language versions, as needed
  • Responsible for coordinating internal events, townhalls, employee engagement activities and related supporting products
  • Responsible for the rollout and maintenance of the voice of employee process - engagement survey and quarterly pulse checks - communication, initiating the survey and reporting of the results
  • Development and maintenance of employee proposition material used in development and update of the career page of corporate website
  • Responsible for updating organizational page and monitoring employer reviews on Glassdoor and Indeed
  • Responsible for applying to accreditation and coordinating email invitations for our ongoing educational webinar series including setting up and rolling out training in the internal learning database as necessary
  • Supporting scheduling and communication necessary in the rollout of the Leadership Academy, including coordination of sessions, facilitators and sending out pre-read materials before and after sessions
  • Contribute to the development, planning and execution of local and national communication events (diversity and inclusion, wellness, recognition, etc.) to enhance employee engagement
  • Leading diversity and inclusion efforts across the organization including co-chairing the national DEI committee and working on various initiatives to drive the efforts across the organization in alignment with DEI strategy and company's vision and mission
  • Collaborate to develop and implement recognition programs and other forms of appreciation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment between internal communication efforts and overall business objectives.
  • Other Duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years in Internal Communications and HR
  • Previous marketing experience is preferred
  • Passion around diversity and inclusion
  • Bilingual French/English an asset
