Bilingual (French/English) Sr. Credit Representative

  • Are you ready to take your career in credit management to the next level?

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Credit Representative to join our team. The Senior Credit Representative will report to the Credit Manager and will be responsible for collections of accounts receivable, resolving customer chargeback claims and disputes, coordinating billing issues, and ensuring order review and release within corporate guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with customers to collect outstanding invoiced receivables and address inquiries and concerns.
  • Perform reconciliations on assigned portfolio accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal business units to resolve outstanding receivables and deduction issues.
  • Review and release merchandise, parts, and repair orders within company guidelines.
  • Assess credit risk, review customer credit limits, and make credit recommendations as required.
  • Prepare third-party packages for referral and bad debt write-offs.
  • Assist with the training and onboarding of new employees in the Credit department.

To Succeed, You Will Need:

  • Post-Secondary education
  • Minimum 3 years experience in retail credit
  • Certified Credit Professional (CCP) certification considered an asset.
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills to handle large account portfolio requests.
  • Intermediate analytical skills to understand corporate policies and procedures and resolve issues effectively.
  • Experience with supplier portals preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience in VLOOKUP's and pivot tables.
  • Fluently bilingual in English and French
