About the role

Join the Partner Solutions Inc. (PSI) team as a Senior Advisor, Data Protection!

Your role will be to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of the organization's data and that of our customers, by implementing the appropriate protection strategies and tools.

What you will do here:

Develop and implement an organization-wide data loss protection program, including the creation of policies, procedures and technical controls.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data assets requiring protection and determine appropriate data protection measures.
Evaluate and select technologies and tools to support the program and oversee their implementation and configuration.
Monitor and analyze incidents and Data Loss Protection (DLP) tool alerts to identify potential security threats or breaches and take appropriate action to prevent data loss.
Educate and train employees on data governance policies and procedures, best practices, and information security awareness.
Work closely with compliance teams to ensure data governance policies and procedures comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Participate in security incident response activities, including investigations and remediation efforts.
Keep abreast of emerging trends and technologies in data protection and data governance and assess their relevance to the organization.

What you bring to the table:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in information security.
Experience in selecting and deploying data loss prevention (DLP) technologies and tools.
One of the following certifications would be a major asset: CISSP, CIPP, CDPSE.
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
Positive attitude, team spirit and willingness to learn.
Critical thinking skills.
Demonstrated commitment to training, self-study and maintaining technical cybersecurity skills.
Bilingualism (French / English) - Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
