We are looking for a compassionate and caring Licensed Practical Nurse to join our amazing care team in one of our beautiful assisted living and long term care facilities, Discovery Harbour Care Centre.
Location: 850- 14th Ave., Campbell River, BC, V9W 4H4
Position Details:
1. Permanent Full time- Day and Evening Shift
_ 4 days on- 2 days off ; 2 days of 7:00pm-3:00pm and 2 days of 3:00pm-11:00pm._
Compensation: Starting at $31.89 per hour plus benefits after probation
Responsibilities
Performs assessments.
Plans, implements, and provides personal and nursing care to residents.
Administers oral and subcutaneous medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures
Directly supervises care staff to meet resident's needs.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.
Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC.
Current CPR and First Aid certification.
Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
Knowledge and background in Dementia care (preferred).
Cultural education and experience are preferred
