Forbest Academy is a highly esteemed tutoring center offering comprehensive educational support in a wide variety of subjects, including English (K-12, IELTS, CELPIP, SAT, SSAT), French (TEF, TCF), Math, and Science (K-12, AP, and IB). We are seeking an enthusiastic Science Teacher with expertise in Physics. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in educating students across all grade levels from Kindergarten to Grade 12. This role involves delivering high-quality instruction, including guiding students through Advanced Placement (AP), Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT), and International Baccalaureate (IB) curricula. Responsibilities: Provide personalized and effective one-on-one or group tutoring sessions for students ranging from Kindergarten to Grade 12. Create tailored lesson plans that align with the curriculum standards and the unique learning needs of each student. Foster an engaging and supportive learning environment that promotes active participation, critical thinking, and academic growth. Assist students in understanding challenging scientific concepts in Physics. Prepare students for AP, SAT, and IB exams by delivering targeted instruction and test-taking strategies. Monitor and track student progress, adapting teaching methods as needed to ensure successful outcomes. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field (Education, Science, etc.) with relevant education experience. Strong command of Physics concepts across Kindergarten to Grade 12 levels. Familiarity with the curriculum and assessment requirements of AP, SAT, and IB programs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students of diverse backgrounds. Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning experience. Ability to adapt tutoring strategies to meet individual learning styles and needs. Previous tutoring, teaching, or mentoring experience is a plus. Proficiency in using technology to enhance instruction and communication. Ease of Commute: Ability to commute to our institution on a daily basis. Experience: Ideally, 2-3 years of teaching experience. Teaching Certification: Possession of a Teaching Certificate of Qualification in British Columbia is preferred.
