Executive Housekeeper

Heritage Inn is located at 570 Old Hope Princeton Way, Hope BC V0X 1L0. We are currently looking for a permanent, full time Executive Housekeeper. If you are interested, please submit your application by email.

Position: Executive Housekeeper
Wage: CAD$24.17 per hour
Types: Full-time, Permanent (various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays)
Working hours: hours per week
Benefits: 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:
Direct and oversee the operations of housekeeping department;
Plan, co-ordinate, and supervise the housekeeping staff;
Plan and prepare staff work schedules;
Inspect to ensure inns cleaning standards and health & safety regulations are met;
Select and order housekeeping equipment and supplies to ensure staff have proper tools for work;
Maintain inventory;
Co-ordinate maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery;
Hire and train housekeeping staff;
Maintain financial records and prepare budgets, payrolls.

Job Requirements:
Completion of secondary school is required
Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience as a cleaning supervisor is required
A university degree or college diploma in hospital management, hotel management or business administration is an asset
Language at work: English
