We're looking for hardworking, dependable and experienced Asphalt Finish Roller Operator to join our road construction crews for a 30-60-day, full-time end-of-season opportunity across Edmonton and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:

Safe operation of heavy roller
Determines speed and direction of machine, based on knowledge of compressibility of material
Work with minimal supervision

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience with roller operation
Valid Class 5 driver's licence a reliable transportation to job sites and a current drivers abstract
Valid Safety Tickets: CSTS 2020 - Ground Disturbance - Confined Space - Fall Protection._ External Flagger Training - First Aid - TDG and Rigging is an assets _
Able to successfully pass a drug and alcohol test
Willingness to work overtime and fulltime hours, weekends, and occasional travel outside of Edmonton
Through knowledge of the safe operation of roller and municipal road building industry
Work continuously for prolonged periods of time under pressure
High attention to detail, strong communication skills and ability to follow directions
Able to work in varying weather conditions
Work collaboratively in a team and independently with little supervision
Valid safety certifications
