Your responsibilities

  • Develop and implement company-wide health, safety and environmental programs, policies and procedures;

  • Ensure compliance with CNESST requirements and other HSE requirements applicable to our operations across Canada;

  • Set prevention priorities based on the risks associated with landscaping, snow removal, fleet operations and field work;

  • Oversee audits, inspections, incident investigations and root cause analyses, and follow through on corrective actions;

  • Monitor HSE performance indicators and provide practical recommendations to senior leadership;

  • Build managers' and supervisors' ability to lead safe operations and address risks;

  • Improve environmental practices related to our operations, including the management of materials, products and spills;

  • At least five years of occupational health and safety experience, including relevant experience in a multisite or field operations environment;

  • Strong knowledge of Quebec's occupational health and safety legislation, CNESST requirements and the principal OHS frameworks applicable elsewhere in Canada;

  • Demonstrated experience with audits, incident investigations, risk assessments, program implementation and management support;

  • Ability to set national priorities while adapting practices to the realities of each location;

  • Fluency in English and French, both spoken and written.

Certifications and assets

  • ASP Construction - General Health and Safety on Construction Sites, when required for site access;

  • Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) designation or another recognized Canadian OHS credential, strongly preferred;

  • Vacation and personal days;

  • Professional development and opportunities for advancement;

  • A national role with a direct impact on the safety of our teams and the evolution of our practices.
