The successful candidate will work closely with the retiring President to gain a deep understanding of the business, its people, customers, and supplier relationships. The role involves setting the strategic direction, driving profitable growth, and building a high-performing leadership team. Key responsibilities include delivering profitable revenue growth, leading and mentoring senior leaders across various functions, and maintaining full accountability for financial and operational performance. The President will also be expected to improve margins, reduce waste, and elevate the customer experience, as well as stay connected to the market to anticipate demand and identify trends. Applicants for the President position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of senior management experience, with at least 5 years' in senior leadership within the construction supply industry. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in leading multi-branch or multi-location organizations and scaling performance. Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills are essential, as is the ability to ensure cross-functional alignment and drive disciplined execution. A strong sales orientation, financial literacy, and experience in mergers and acquisitions are also valuable assets.
