Grader Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Grader operator to join our construction and heavy equipment operation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating grading equipment to prepare and level surfaces for road maintenance , construction, or other infrastructure projects. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy machinery, safety protocols, and construction site procedures. Candidates with experience in heavy equipment operation, including dozer, loader, backhoe, excavator, and Caterpillar machinery, will excel in this position. The successful applicant will contribute to efficient project completion while maintaining high safety standards.

Duties

Operate graders to level and prepare surfaces according to project specifications
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of grading equipment to ensure optimal performance
Follow safety protocols and ensure the work area remains clean and organized
Utilize mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing minor repairs Skills
Proven experience operating graders and other heavy machinery such as dozers, excavators, loaders with min 2 years experience
Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
Ability to operate Caterpillar equipment efficiently and safely
Experience in construction environments with a focus on road maintenance
valid drivers license required
Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining attention to detail
Physical ability to perform manual tasks associated with heavy equipment operation and site work
living in supplied camp during working days

Pay: $28.00-$33.00 per hour
