Position: Senior Java Developer

Location: Toronto ON

Skills: Java, Springboot, Microservices, SQL

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-performance backend applications using Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code following best practices and design patterns.
• Design and optimize data models and queries for MongoDB and Elasticsearch to ensure fast, reliable data access.
• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate backend services with front-end components as needed.
• Build and manage containerized applications on OpenShift (OCP) using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment and testing workflows.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools like Copilot or Windsurf to enhance coding productivity and quality.
• Perform peer code reviews, mentor junior developers, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend services to meet performance and reliability SLAs.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver robust, production-ready solutions.
