Seeking an experienced Mainframe CICS Engineer to support, maintain, and optimize CICS Transaction Server environments within a large-scale z/OS infrastructure. This role involves performance tuning, troubleshooting, and collaboration with development and operations teams in a 24x7 setup.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain CICS TS using SMP/E.
- Manage CICSPlex SM for workload management and routing.
- Monitor performance and resolve issues using Sysview and CICS Analyzer.
- Collaborate with developers on CICS-COBOL applications and MQ integration.
- Provide on-call support and perform dump analysis for problem resolution.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of CICS systems, SMF records, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with COBOL, WebSphere MQ, and CICS monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with z/OS components (APF, VSAM, LPA, RLS).
- Good communication and analytical skills.
