Responsibilities:
- Drive, operate and maintain a 35 T crane, to lift, move heavy materials and equipment. This particular job is approximately 75% driving and 25% picker work.
- Safely rig loads and ensure proper attachment to crane hooks
- Inspect equipment before each use to ensure it is in good working condition
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating cranes
- Communicate with team members to coordinate lifts and ensure efficient workflow
- Provide guidance and training to swampers.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or questions related to crane operations
Qualifications:
- Experience operating cranes, including boom trucks, in an oilfield or industrial setting
- Ability to read and interpret load charts
- Strong mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues with cranes
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with team members and customers. Must be organized and efficient in picking operations.
- First aid, H2s alive and valid class 1 drivers license a must
