Overview
We're seeking a reliable and skilled tradesperson for hedge trimming, line trimming, tree pruning, limbing, and general arborist work, including debris cleanup, driving, and loading. The ideal candidate will ensure all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard. Strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential. A valid driver's license is required; having your own vehicle is an asset but not mandatory.

Duties

Perform hedge trimming, shrub trimming, and pruning with a focus on clean aesthetics
Carry out tree pruning, limbing, topping, and full tree removals
Clean up work areas, including raking, debris collection, and site tidiness
Load and unload debris, brush, and logs onto trucks or trailers efficiently
Safely operate various power tools, including chainsaws, line trimmers, stump grinders, hedge trimmers, and more
Use time effectively on-site and during equipment/debris loading and unloading
Drive company vehicles to and from job sites and transfer stations
Ensure proper equipment lock-up, maintenance checks, and secure storage at job sites
Follow all safety protocols and procedures while maintaining efficiency
Collaborate with crew members when needed and work independently when assigned
Maintain a professional attitude and a high standard of workmanship on every job

Experience

Experience with hedge & tree trimming & pruning an asset but not mandatory.
Candidates posessing general Landscaping experience will also be prioritized.
Driver's license mandatory

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual, Seasonal
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
