Job Overview: Residential Drywall Field Supervisor
We are seeking a results-oriented and detail-driven Field Supervisor to lead residential interior construction projects, with a specific work scope focus on insulation, drywall, and taping. In this context, this role is accountable for the successful execution of projects from pre-construction through close-out, with schedule adherence and profitability serving as primary success metrics.
The Field Supervisor is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the project lifecycle-including planning, budgeting, procurement, and field execution-while ensuring high-quality deliverables and a safe working environment. A key part of the role is also to mentor junior construction leadership and uphold site safety standards, reinforcing a culture of operational discipline and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage interior construction scopes with an emphasis on insulation, drywall, and taping, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, identify risks to timelines, and implement corrective actions to avoid delays
Drive project profitability through effective cost control, resource planning, and scope management
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of field activities
Proactively identify and resolve design or constructability issues in collaboration with field and design teams
Monitor site progress, enforce safety protocols, and conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
Provide coaching, oversight, and development opportunities for junior site supervisors and coordinators to strengthen future leadership capacity
