We are an award-winning downtown Labour and Employment Law Firm hiring a senior law clerk/ senior legal assistant who has:
- minimum of 6 years of legal assistant and/or law clerk experience;
- docketing and bookkeeping experience in a law firm setting;
- experience working in an employment law firm or civil litigation law firm;
- careful attention to detail and excellent organizational skills;
- excellent English writing and speaking skills;
- superior software skills, particularly Microsoft Office programs and Adobe;
- superior typing skills;
- excellent knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure and court forms;
- formal Legal Assistant or Law Clerk education;
- experience in office administration is preferred, but not required.

Duties & Responsibilities
Produce legal correspondence including emails and letters;
Maintain filing and bring forward systems;
Coordinate schedules and calendar appointments;
Preparation and filing of court documents and tribunal forms;
Docketing and billing;
Assisting with client intake when needed;
Mentoring others with respect to various court forms, procedures and practice directions;
Conducting corporate searches for litigation;
Assisting with the Firm's quarterly and annual filings, including but not limited to LawPro and LSO;
Being the liaison between our IT, phone and internet personnel and addressing any issues that arise;
Other duties as required.
