We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager to oversee our kitchen operations and ensure the highest standards of food quality and service. As the Assistant Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for helping to manage kitchen staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Train, mentor, and lead kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality food production.
Help manage inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain accurate records of food costs.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Monitor kitchen performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.
Handle cash management processes related to the kitchen operations efficiently.
Experience
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
Strong knowledge of food handling practices and health regulations.
Experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures is preferred.
Background in bartending or hospitality is a plus.
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff and guests alike.
