Teacher (Full Time) - Ahmadiyya Muslim School Calgary
AMS is seeking candidates for a Full Time Teacher for the academic year . The successful candidate will be an ardent individual who exhibits creativity and a passion for helping students reach their goals.
Responsibilities :
Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the curriculum and educational goals.
Create an inclusive and positive learning environment.
Assess student progress and provide feedback.
Collaborate with colleagues and parents/guardians.
Promote Ahmadiyya Islamic values and teachings.
Foster spiritual and moral development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Education
Eligible for or in possession of an Alberta Permanent or Interim Teaching Certificate.
Fluent English is required for this position; and
Valid first-aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Experience in multicultural settings.
Strong pedagogical knowledge and assessment skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Passion for teaching and commitment to student growth.
Prior teaching experience is desirable. The successful applicant will need to provide a recent Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening prior to commencing work.
