Job Duties: To read and translate blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements. Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems. Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join wood, wood substitutes. Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, moulding and hardware. Maintain and renovate residences wooden structures. Job Requirement: Completion of Secondary School is required. 2-3 years of experience is required. Must be willing to travel to work sites all over lower Mainland BC. Terms of Employment: Salary: $37.00 /Hourly. Overtime starts after 8 hours a day and a 40 hours per week. Job Type: Fulltime Position.
