Our client, a company specializing in retail, is looking for a customer service claims agent on a 12-month contract.

Salary 48K

Workplace Laval

Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in person

The incumbent acts as the first point of contact for operators and customers in all matters relating to insurance claims. He/she handles claims following bodily injury, breakage or damage to company property/buildings or third-party property, as well as automobile fleet claims.

Responsibilities :

- Act as a resource person for operators in the event of a claim for bodily injury, breakage or damage to company or third-party property/buildings, as well as fleet claims;

- Coordinate claims files according to established protocols (e.g. billing and/or reimbursement);

- Follow-up with operations, customers and insurer and/or claims adjuster;

- Handle telephone complaints related to customer service claims;

- Synthesize documents required for the production of various statistical reports;

- Answer calls and e-mails;

- Provide administrative support for the Insurance and Claims Department;

Intervene and deal with various stakeholders.

- DEC in secretarial or administrative studies;

Experience :

- Minimum of one year of relevant experience in customer service (telephone);

- Experience in administrative support (an asset);

- Experience in the insurance sector and in claims file management will be considered an asset.

Knowledge and skills :

- Excellent command of the Office suite;

- Thoroughness, organizational skills and ability to manage priorities;

- Diplomacy, autonomy;

- Excellent communication skills; the role requires collaboration with global teams.
