JOB OPPORTUNITY
Maintenance Planner YOUR MISSION OF EXCELLENCE
You will be responsible for scheduling all maintenance work according to production priorities and operational constraints.

WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH
• Order parts and materials in line with maintenance work planning;
• Manage parts inventory required for maintenance activities;
• Research parts and identify equivalent components;
• Generate, plan, and optimize various maintenance tasks based on production availability;
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety programs;
• Manage the preventive maintenance program for equipment;
• Coordinate work to optimize production and use available resources as efficiently as possible;
• Collaborate with supervisors to determine tasks while considering the work schedule;
• Track maintenance activities to ensure completion;
• Follow up on quotes and service contracts with suppliers and subcontractors;
• Act as a backup for the Maintenance Supervisor when needed.

THE IDEAL PROFILE
• College diploma in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or any equivalent combination of education and relevant experience;
• Proficiency in Guide TI software (an asset);
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills;
• Knowledge of the steel industry (an asset);
• Strong team spirit and collaboration skills.
