Among Island communities, there is a unique strength in the bonds that we share, connections as natural and beautiful as the environment we get to call home. To have that kind of social impact is a profoundly positive feeling that comes with life at Island Health.
Vancouver Island, located off the southwest coast of British Columbia, is a place where rugged wilderness meets vibrant coastal living. From snow-capped mountains to lush rainforests, and from charming towns to urban centres, the Island is home to a diverse range of lifestyles and landscapes.
