Job Title: Heavy Equipment Pump Operator (Concrete Pumps)

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Wage: $34.00/hour based on a 40-hour work week

Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Description:

• Operate heavy equipment (concrete pumps)
• Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks
• Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment
• Secure special attachments to equipment
• Operate two-way radios and other communication equipment
• Perform minor repairs to equipment
• Operate hydraulic pumping systems
• Understand the purpose, proper usage, and information found on material safety data sheets (MSDS)
• Complete onboard and other logs
• Prepare accident reports
• Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment

Requirements:

• Must speak English
• Completed high school
• 1 to less than 2 years of experience
• Steel-toed safety boots
• Valid driver's license (Class 1 or A) and (Class 3 or D)
• Air Brake Z endorsement
• Power Line Hazardous training
• Good attention to detail
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, on-call, and overtime
• Physically demanding work in a fast-paced outdoor environment
• Experience in industrial/commercial/institutional (ICI) and road construction
